The DawgRun Story
Meet Beth Haynes
Providing excellence in dog training for over a decade
"It all started with a little brown pup..."
DawgRun has its humble beginnings with just me, and my Boykin Spaniel "Mo", and a desire to train her to hunt quail.
I have never forgotten walking the old fence hedges and bird fields with my Granddaddy and Uncles as a young girl. I always wanted to hunt with my dog and asked my friend, Bobby Anderson, to train me and Mo. He had taught himself though many years of training his own, and others, dogs. I had no idea at the time how much working with him and Mo, would change the direction of my life.
My "pack" grew over time from one Boykin to two, followed by a litter of the wonderful breed. I found myself spending more time working with Spaniels and walking the bird fields than pretty much anything else.
After retiring as an educator in 2019, I turned my attention to boarding and training more breeds. What began as the DawgPound, a 3-acre facility in Sandersville, over time, outgrew itself and manifested what is now, DawgRun. We are now a 16-acre, fenced-in facility near Tennille, Georgia with a pond, training rooms and boarding facilities, along with bird fields and plenty of property to safely educate our clients and meet their needs. While servicing clients nationwide, DawgRun provides all the essentials to properly train and board all ages and breeds of canines.
What started as a hobby became a life-long passion to not only train dogs, but to help people build great relationships based on trust. The overwhelming needs of a growing and diverse client base dictated the size and design of DawgRun.
DawgRun is my lifelong dream realized.
Let's Go!
